Sanofi Budapest Hub’s new buffet and café with Coninvest kitchen technology
The latest development at Sanofi Budapest Hub reflects the company’s continuous growth and changing employee needs. As part of the newly completed, approximately 8,000 square meter office expansion, a modern, multifunctional buffet and café area has also been created, with kitchen technology and stainless steel equipment supplied and installed by Coninvest.
The new cafeteria, which serves 150 people at lunchtime, is not only a place to eat but also a community space thanks to its modern design and well-thought-out technology.
“It has become a multifunctional space, used not only at lunchtime, but also as a venue for various events and meetings,” said Gergő Gauland, sales representative at Coninvest.
Compact yet powerful kitchen
Coninvest was responsible for supplying and installing the entire kitchen technology system, stainless steel counters, and café equipment.
During the design phase, it was crucial that the relatively small kitchen operate as efficiently as possible while serving high traffic and performing a variety of functions.
Coninvest worked closely with the operator to develop the final layout and equipment selection to ensure that all equipment would respond to real user needs and serve the Sanofi team efficiently in everyday operations. The kitchen is equipped with professional appliances from Angelo Po, RATIONAL, and Cool Head, which guarantee reliable, energy-efficient operation and high-quality service.
Innovative solutions for efficiency
Several special technological solutions were implemented during the project:
- a tray conveyor belt was installed in the buffet, which transports the trays handed in by guests, with plates and cutlery on them, directly to the consumer sink;
- a Modbar coffee machine was installed in the café counter, with only the brewing head visible above the granite countertop – its elegant, clean appearance creates a premium atmosphere in the café area;
- and the five-meter-long stainless steel counter and built-in refrigerated display cases ensure both continuity of service and aesthetics in the guest area.
During the construction, the Coninvest team worked in constant consultation with the carpenters and architectural partners to ensure that the counter coverings, granite slabs, and built-in elements fit together perfectly in terms of size, material, and design.
Smooth cooperation, premium results
The new cafeteria at Sanofi Budapest Hub is an excellent example of efficient design, high-quality execution, and partner collaboration. It is a modern, clean, and functional space where technology and aesthetics are in perfect balance.
“We were able to communicate smoothly with all partners throughout the project, which was key to achieving such a high-quality end result,” emphasized Gergő Gauland.
