The true character of a space is not only defined by its architecture, but also by its carefully planned interior design. A well-designed interior not only provides an aesthetic experience, but also enhances functionality and the guest experience – whether it’s an elegant hotel, a stylish restaurant or a modern office space.
Trivium Packaging BSC office, Budapest
Trivium Packaging is a global leader in high-quality, recyclable metal packaging. It operates nearly 50 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and research and development sites worldwide. One of the company’s Business Service Centres is located in Budapest, and its employees carry out their daily tasks using furniture supplied by Coninvest.
Steam Budapest, Budapest
Located at the bottom of the Servita Square Building, Steam restaurant is open from morning until late at night for those who live the city life naturally. The restaurant’s owners have imagined a café atmosphere tailored to the needs of today, where cosiness, friends and business meetings play the leading role, with a cosmopolitan feel. Based on the designer’s vision, Coninvest’s experts helped to select the furniture that would make it a reality.
Wenckheim-palace, Szabadkígyós
The historicist Wenckheim palace, predominantly in German neo-Renaissance style, was built between 1875 and 1879 to the design of Miklós Ybl, and its restoration as a listed heritage building took place between 2019 and 2022.
“We had very exciting and useful discussions with Coninvest about the project in the showroom, where we were able to try out, touch and compare the different furniture and determine the exact elements using real material samples.
The aim was to create a harmonious mix of upholstered or solid wood furniture that would complement the atmosphere of the castle, and metal furniture for the exterior. We were bold in our use of exciting colours, which is confirmed by the way the finished spaces look. The value for money was of paramount importance, so we chose Italian and Polish furniture, where the timelessness of the simple, classic design was also a factor” – said interior designer Csaba Balogh about the joint work.
Grabovsky Coworking&More, Miskolc
“We envisioned a creative, youthful and vibrant environment where civilians, entrepreneurs, freelancers, students, start-up companies and like-minded professionals from different fields work, create and build community in the same space. For the first time in Miskolc and the North-Hungary region, we have created a community office that also functions as an event space.
Our aim was to create a space that could function as an open office and a community space. In addition, the meeting boxes offer the possibility to retreat, have face-to-face meetings and discussions. In the community space, we placed great emphasis on the variability and rearrangability of the furniture.
Working together with Coninvest was really efficient, thanks to the wide range of products we didn’t have to compromise on quality and we were able to keep the price within the amount we had set”, says architect-designer Tímea Tóth.
Budapest German School, Budapest
The canteen of the Budapest German School is not a typical canteen – here, feeding children is much more than just the staff serving them a meal in a cold, inhospitable canteen within a given time. The DSBistro is a community space that is modern, colourful and where children like to spend time. To match this, we wanted to make the furniture as varied and functional as possible to suit the children’s needs and eating habits at all times of the day. This is also the purpose of the partition screens, which maintain the sense of space, but make the atmosphere a little more intimate.
The school bistro has an open cooking area so that children can see the cooking process and learn about different food cultures. Instead of the usually cold metallic colours, a touch of summer is present in the space, on the chairs, walls and the cooking area surfaces in beautiful yellow. Ceiling decorations and light fittings are a little more forward-looking.
