This is how the bar counter at the Las Vegas Casino Corvin was realised with Coninvest
Located on Corvin Promenade, the Las Vegas Casino Corvin is a 1,200-square-metre entertainment centre open round the clock, and a permanent fixture in the vibrant district of Corvin Promenade – characterised by slot machines, live table games and a constant flow of visitors, non-stop, every day of the year. In a venue such as this, the bar is not merely a quiet ancillary service, but an integral, constantly bustling part of the operation.
For Coninvest, this was already the second Las Vegas Casino project this year. This type of repeat commission in itself is a sign to us of the success of our previous collaboration and the client’s satisfaction.
An island bar with walk-around service
At the Corvin Casino, an island bar was constructed which guests can approach from any side, walking all the way round it. This design requires a different operational approach to a counter built against a wall with one-way service: bar staff must be able to serve guests arriving from all directions simultaneously and seamlessly, which was a key consideration in the layout of the technology.
What a casino bar needs to know
In a casino bar, continuous, uninterrupted service is not a luxury but a basic requirement: the flow of customers never stops, so the technology must not create any bottlenecks.
“It is very important to think about every little detail. Inside the bar, there should not only be a cocktail station and a drinks cooler side by side, but there should also be adequate washing-up facilities and, if required, a station where bar staff can serve finger food,” says Dániel Kanyik, a sales representative at Coninvest.
Coninvest’s task: integrating technology into a completed counter frame
In this project, the furniture work on the bar counter was carried out by another company, whilst Coninvest’s task was to integrate the bar technology into this already completed counter ‘frame’. This division of labour meant that the technical design had to be adapted retrospectively to fit a fixed space, rather than being developed in parallel with it.
The most challenging aspect of the project stemmed from the fact that the counter’s framework was not Coninvest’s responsibility: the installation had to be adapted to an existing frame designed by another company.
“The project required constant consultation and on-site surveys, for which our professional and expert team is always ready,” says Dániel Kanyik.
The same trust, the same technology
As Coninvest had previously supplied kitchen technology to the Las Vegas Casino SofistiQ, the range of fitted equipment remained unchanged for the Corvin project: Meiko dishwashers, a Manitowoc ice machine, a Merrychef deep fryer and a Gamko bar fridge serve the bar – the same range of technology that proved its worth in the first Las Vegas Casino project.
Trust that returns
The bar counter at the Las Vegas Casino Corvin is not about technological innovation, but about a tried-and-tested partnership functioning just as confidently in its second phase. The same level of precision had to be replicated in a different space and with a different counter design, and Coninvest guarantees the high-quality execution of this project with over 30 years’ experience.
