Modern canteens are no longer just about preparing food quickly and economically, but also about the perfect combination of efficiency, quality and a delicious gastronomic experience. A well-designed and equipped canteen not only addresses the challenges of daily catering, but also represents a new level of energy efficiency, sustainability and workflow optimisation.
Coninvest has been involved in a number of large-scale canteen projects in recent years, where we have used state-of-the-art kitchen technology and thoughtful space planning to ensure that the kitchens best serve the needs of guests and operators.
BMW, Debrecen
Our work started in the factory’s Communication Centre. The CC canteen started operations in February 2024.
During the construction, Coninvest’s colleagues were involved in a lot of meetings and cooperation, where every detail was planned. We were able to meet BMW’s high expectations flexibly and efficiently. It has been a motivating cooperation for us, and it is a pleasure to see the end result.
Bosch Campus II., Budapest
Bosch inaugurated the Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus, Hungary’s newest automotive technology development centre, in September 2022. The new 90,000-square-metre complex houses 1,800 workplaces, 14,000 square metres of research and test laboratories, a uniquely equipped instrumented test track and a high-tech test hall with giant measuring chambers.
Bosch’s new campus and its new canteen, which serves 1,000-1,200 people a day, was one of the biggest Coninvest projects this year. In the campus’ staff canteen, the modern, snow-white, island-like serving counters are a form-fitting design. In the kitchen, cooking is done exclusively on German and Swiss equipment and technology. Large, mobile combi-steamers, pressure pans hung on the assembly wall and tilting pans all allow for efficient production and easy clean-up. The pastry kitchen is fully independent from the bakery supply thanks to the etching ovens located here. This central kitchen is intended to serve all the restaurants on the Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus.
Sustainability is a key aspect in the operation of the campus canteen: the central dishwashing unit is equipped with Meiko equipment on a daily basis, which ensures an environmentally friendly dishwashing solution thanks to its minimal water, chemical and energy consumption.
Liberty, Budapest
The Liberty office building has become known as one of the most modern office buildings in the capital. With its elegant design and environmentally conscious solutions, the office building creates an inspiring workplace for tenants who value excellent accessibility by public and private transport, large floor areas, high-quality office space and a wide range of services.
Coninvest has provided state-of-the-art kitchen technology for the cafeteria in the Liberty office building. Our experts have also paid particular attention to functionality, efficiency and durability in the choice of furniture for the canteen, ensuring that employees can spend their breaks in a modern, comfortable and high-quality dining environment.
