A modern patisserie is not just about the quality of the cakes and desserts, but also about the technology behind the scenes and the experience it creates for its guests. The ideal pastry space supports professional creativity, ensures efficient workflows and is aesthetically stunning.
Coninvest has been involved in a number of outstanding pastry projects in recent years, where the aim has been to create a practical, energy-efficient and inspiring working environment using state-of-the-art technology. We now present three special pastry shops where kitchen technology, interior design and gastronomic innovation have been brought into perfect harmony!
NOUR – Arts of Desserts, Budaörs
“I was looking for the perfect space to open NOUR and I came across a building for rent of Coninvest, which is why I contacted them first. As I got to know their work, I was completely impressed with their expertise and attitude. I was reassured by Mirjam’s professionalism and composure, I knew that the NOUR project would be in the perfect place in their hands. I had the utmost confidence in them. Our work together went very smoothly and the end result is absolutely beyond my expectations, I got much more than I expected. I can say that if someone decides to implement his plans together with Coninvest, they will feel from the first meeting that their business is in good hands”, said Alexandra Kecskés, owner of Nour.
Pomo D’oro, Budapest
The gastronomic empire of the Pomo D’oro team in Arany János Street, Budapest, is constantly expanding and improving. Year after year, new expectations from their guests come in, and they are constantly trying to install technology in the Trattoria. As a result, their confectionery production unit has shrunk. In 10 years, they outgrew the production workshop in the back, so they decided to buy and renovate the cellar space on the opposite side of Arany János Street. Here they set up a confectionery, a bakery and a homemade pasta making workshop.
Bagatelle MOM Park, Budapest
We are always very enthusiastic about projects where we can not only contribute our expertise, but also learn and be inspired. Our working relationship with Albrecht Wirtz (the creator and owner of Villa Bagatelle on Németvölgyi Road and MOM Park Bagatellini) is not new, as we supplied the small purple and white bakery with stainless steel bar counter structures, counters and kitchen appliances back in 2012. And now, a favourite spot for many has become even more magical, as the HelloWood team behind the beautiful installations have built a fairytale forest in front of Bagatellini – so come rain or shine, there’s a fixed picnic spot in town. For this highly creative project, we were tasked with designing the coffee counter kiosk and furnishing it with machinery, so we supplied the entire stainless counter structure, the refrigerated display cases, the dishwasher, and the counter also features a fridge and stainless accessories. After much consultation, we were able to create a truly unique space that we’re always happy to return to for a delicious coffee and pastry, to feel a little enchanted under the design canopy.
