Elegance redefined
Matild Palace is an architectural gem of Budapest, located in the heart of the city, right beside Danube River. Matild and its twin palace, Klotild create a magnificent gateway to Elizabeth Bridge. Matild Palace, the celebrated icon of the Habsburg era, is a vision of Her Royal Highness Maria Klotild, was completed in 1902 to become the social epicentre of the city.
The reason we shared all this information with you was to announce our new project. We are very proud of being able to take part in the implementation of this large-scale project dating back to that particular time.
We have looked into the historical aspects to be in harmony with the building, the Hungarian culture and to align with the ideas along which they hoped for the new Matild Palace.
The hotel strives to provide authentic and inspiring experience for the visitors of the city, in a unique environment reminiscent of the Belle Époque era of Budapest.
Towards the end of an extensive renovation process, Matild Palace will soon shine again in its old splendour as a 5-star hotel belonging to Marriott International’s The Luxury Collection brand, redefining the concept of elegance.
One of the biggest and most difficult tasks for us during this project so far was to deliver the MKN multifunctional cooking block to the building, which was done with the help of a special crane. FlexiChef is an important link in the installation of a complete kitchen because nowadays this multi-tasking device is the most efficient kitchen technology tool with an automatic, built-in cleaning system.
