Home, sweet home
It has been over a year that the whole world started staying at home. We work from home, study with the kids at home while improving our culinary arts. We finally have time for delayed but desired things to do. Our new habits have developed, a new rhythm of life has begun, into which we are slowly coming in, learning. Anyone who spends their “house arrest” in a house with a garden is a little more bearable, as the proximity and sight of nature from behind a laptop is still more inspiring than a bustling office building. However, a residential home office with a tasteful terrace can also be a very cosy and pleasant environment if we have enough creativity to create new spaces.
We knew we would spend most of our time at home for an unpredictable period, so during that time, it didn’t matter what kind of interior was left to stay at home that surrounds us all day.
Pedrali’s new collection has arrived.
It is a new collection from Pedrali, one of our favourite suppliers, already starting with the fancy name #pedralitales. We think this is a lovely name for this trend in indoor and outdoor furniture. Now, in this unusual period, we are perhaps more receptive to tales, delicacies, beauty. The name of Pedrali’s new campaign also makes us recall old fairy tales, romance and a vibrant Italian sense of life. The furniture was presented with a solid, bright red background on their latest online platform, featuring old, winding, romantic shapes reminiscent of the late 19th century as well as modern, sleek elements. Talking about which, garden chairs, the steel frame is a mixture of teak and ash wood comes in several colours, taking the furniture to a new comfort level. The chairs and tables, as we are used to, are easy to clean and very durable.
We need some vibration!
Even if you do not want to paint your walls with vibrant red as you see on the pictures, it is worth thinking about this brilliant colour for accessories. For example, for the bright colour of a wireless outdoor lamp, pastel shades are now very fashionable, revealing good taste, good harmony. Whether you plan on getting a simple garden seating-working corner or just a relaxing outdoor sofa, it is worth choosing the colours well. Trust me on this, simple pieces can be mixed better in the future.
We have a proverb in Hungarian that “it’s not the dress that makes a man”. There must be some truth in this statement, but in the case of dressing, as in the case of “dressing up” our apartment, it does not matter what kind of visual experience the interior provides for us and others, and what comfort it gives. If we want to, if not, our souls are affected by colours, shapes, materials. Now maybe there’s even more time to immerse ourselves a little in brainstorming, involving the family in designing as well, and creating the outdoor living room of our dreams, or the craziest working nook.
The following photos should serve as inspiration, and if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them – from design to implementation.
